Hi Coco & Mainers!
Fall is in the air, and there is nothing quite like feeling fall in your favorite city. Below are some fun ways to dress like the city you love!
Los Angeles, California
California style is known to be laid back and down to earth, with luxurious and textured details. While there really isn't a fall in LA, layering can help you feel cozy in slightly dipping temperatures. A soft collared top underneath an oversized and simple sweater vest adds some sophistication to distressed mom jeans, white chunky tennis shoes, and a fun woven bag.
Seattle, Washington
The near constant precipitation gives off a moody feeling to the city, an aura that goes well with a bustling, hipster-esque culture. To match the lush green nearby foliage, you need to look like you belong in both the country and the city. An anorak jacket layered over a feminine blouse and dark jeggings goes perfectly with a practical but adorable corduroy jacket. The brown combat boots add a touch of chic ruggedness.
Salem, Massachusetts
Salem is near to the bigger city of Boston, but this look goes well with both urban scenes. A richly toned and richly textured jumper with a dramatic bell sleeve top can be pair with opaque black tights, as well as a flattering black coat and punky Doc Marten platform boots. Goes perfectly with the spooky feeling of Salem!
New York City, New York
To be well dressed in New York, pairing classic pieces with edgy and unique items are the way to go. A soft turtleneck in a muted color goes well with an oversized leather shacket. Distressed, wider legged jeans are perfect with a platform pleater mary-jane, and a richly hued bucket bag ties it all together. These sleek touches show that you fit in with the city that never sleeps; it's very no nonsense.
